requested support from the commissioners to get permission to have a bulk
storage tank on his property moved along the new Hwy 14. This tank is 17’ from the road right of
way. He is unable to insure the tank
presently. He is requesting that the
commissioners pass a resolution to require the DOT to move the tank. The board questioned him on the involvement
of the County when this matter is with the State Department of
Transportation. The board will seek the

The December 14th Planning Commission meeting will be

Armstrong moved and Ruhland seconded the motion to approve a contract amendment for an additional $24,000 for MFIP Employment and Training Services for MN Valley Action Council. Motion carried unanimously.

Bruce continued his business with the presentation of a request for an extension of a tax abatement from Twin Oaks for a two year extension. He will invite the owners to present their intent on expansion to the board before a public hearing is set.
Classification and Compensation study update was given by Boyce. He gave a job description process from the RFP. Communication with Springsted will increase as the project progresses.
Planning and Zoning departmental audit and review was discussed. The firm hired to perform the audit will be doing a couple more interviews before giving a report.
The 2006 review and goal setting for department heads were discussed. The process will proceed in December.
