Waseca County Court Services provides a myriad of services to the Court and community intended to enhance the protection of the community, the successful, law-abiding adjustment of the offender and to bring resolution to the victims of crime. Foremost among the services are comprehensive investigative written reports for use by the Court in determining the appropriate outcome of delinquency or criminal matters. Court Services supervises offenders placed on probation and is responsible for a juvenile diversion program. Remote electronic alcohol monitoring and electronic home detention services are offered. Court Services is responsible for Rule-25 chemical dependency assessments and chemical dependency treatment placements according to the policies of the Consolidated Chemical Dependency Treatment Fund. Finally, Court Services coordinates the Sentencing to Service Program. |
