Another core function is the provision of pretrial services to all levels of offenders processed by the District Court. This function may include bail studies for felony offenders, home detention for a delinquent, electronic alcohol monitoring upon release from custody for offenders charged with driving while impaired, etc. Supervision of offenders and juvenile delinquents in the community is another core service.
