The Information Technology Department provides computer services in Waseca County which range from researching new and possible technology uses, planning and forecasting, operating and maintaining PC hardware/software, AS400 hardware/software, and also administering the county's networks and county's website. Information Technology is also responsible for the operation of the county-wide telephone system. We consider our department the "hub" from which information stems. Waseca County's Web page is also maintained by the Information Technology Department. Our goal is to publish information to increase public awareness, confidence, and involvement in Waseca County government, by providing continuous, open, and meaningful communication through a variety of strategies. It is also the department's goal to find new ways to improve customer service and increase citizen understanding on County issues. |
