Recyclables

Cardboard Boxes, cereal boxes, pop cases, shoes boxes, paper bags, etc.; boxes DO NOT need to be flattened, but they must be clean.
Office paper Typing paper, school papers, computer paper, envelopes, etc.
Newspaper Newsprint ONLY, no glossy inserts or advertisements.
Magazines All glossy inserts, advertising flyers, coupon sheets, catalogs, ANY GLOSSY PAPER.
Phone books Directories, paperback books, regular books with the hard cover and binder REMOVED..
Glass Green, brown, clear:  The three different colors MUST be separated in the color categories. Labels can be left on, but CAPS MUST BE REMOVED.
Clothing Must be clean and dry. NO SHOES, BELTS, PURSES, LEATHER, SUEDE, STUFFED TOYS, OR QUILTING FABRIC SHREDS. Clothing must be wearable and dry.
Tin MUST be rinsed and clean. It is not necessary to crush or remove the labels.
Aluminum MUST be rinsed and clean. Pop cans, beer cans, cat food cans, tuna cans, small juice cans, etc. We accept aluminum cans, but we do not buy them.
Tin foil MUST be clean. Please DO NOT combine with the aluminum. Tin, aluminum and tin foil are 3 different materials, please separate them.
Plastics

All caps and covers must be removed.
#1:  Soft drink bottles (clear & green tinted) and see-thru plastic containers with the recyclable triangle with a "#1" on the bottom of the container.
All plastics MUST be rinsed and free of any substance that was in the container. #2 through #7: Colored, non-see-thru containers, including shampoo bottles, chocolate syrup bottles, cool whip containers, ice cream pails, laundry detergent bottles, fabric softener bottles, NO plastic bags, tupperware or rubbermaid containers, plastic plant pots. All metal handles musta be removed from ice cream pails.
#2 Milk jug plastic:  Milk jugs or white opaque, water jugs, vinegar jugs, some dish soap bottles.
