Mission

The missions of Waseca County Court Services are to promote public safety by holding offenders accountable, aiding them to achieve positive behavioral changes, and providing for victim and community reparations through the utilizations of quality probation services.

Core Services

Waseca County Court Services is organized under the provisions of Minnesota Statute §244.19 and provides core services to juvenile delinquents and offenders convicted of misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor offenses. Core services include providing comprehensive, unbiased written reports for the court's use in imposing a disposition or in amending conditions of supervision. Services included but not limited to: 

• Bail evaluations
• Mental health screens
• Risk/need assessments
• Placement of offenders in appropriate programming
• Pre-trial supervision
• Probation supervision to juvenile, adult misdemeanor, and adult gross misdemeanor offenders
• Provide Court with pre-dispositional reports, pre-sentence investigation reports, probation violation reports, etc.
