The County Recorder/Registrar of Titles is the custodian of all legal records accepted and recorded/filed in Waseca County pertaining to Real Estate. Federal/State/County tax liens, Federal judgments, Hospital liens, Plats, Oaths of Office and Military Discharges.
The office is responsible for the evaluation, recording, and archival preservation of over 200 types of legal documents. The public depends on the accuracy and current status of these records to protect their interest. Our office also provides access to all public records recorded and filed in our office along with the ability to purchase remote access.
The Waseca County Recorder's Office and Registrar of Titles Office is committed to evaluate and process documents, record/file, and generate archival records in compliance with statutory laws and document standards.
Individuals may record their Military Discharges here. no fee is charged for this service or for the certified copies that can be obtained in the Recorder's Office. Please check in with the Veteran Service Office prior to coming to our office concerning Military Discharges.
In addition to recording real estate documents, we process Passports and take photos for $15.
